Progress on content management system

So it looks like I might skip using WordPress or Drupal as a backend for the site, as I’d much rather develop the site main structure myself and have every element as customizable as possible. As for the bands, I’m planning on using something along the lines of a WYSIWYG editor such as this: http://www.snippetmaster.com/demo/index.php (admin/admin to test it out). This is so they can edit their main content without effecting the rest of the layout, and they don’t need to learn any HTML code (although they can edit the HTML directly if they feel so inclined to do so). All content will still be stored in a MySQL database and able to be pulled up on the main portal website automatically.
Outline and some ideas

Here is an outline of what I’d like to include on each bands’ website (broken into essential pages and optional pages), as well as a few of the features of the main network website. I ended up rethinking a few of the functions of the main website, and want to gear it more towards the fans while keeping the band sign up information to having them send a demo first and discussing in person what they want rather than giving them the access to create their band website right from the get go. The main reason behind this is that I’m already getting a lot of requests from bands who want to sign up, yet don’t have this service in place yet and am anticipating too many bands joining too quickly. If you have no idea what I’m talking about at this point, hopefully everyone gets a better understanding of my project after my presentation because I’m looking for some good feedback as to what you’d like to see, as a music fan, in a music website.
